What we collect

• Your name and email address, and anything you choose to tell us.
• Your membership and payment history (card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number).
• What you do in the members’ area: lessons you finish, posts and comments, and calls you join.

Why we use it

• To give you your membership (our contract with you).
• To send emails you’ve agreed to, like our newsletter (your consent, which you can take back at any time).
• To keep tax and accounting records (a legal duty: we keep payment records for at least 6 years).

Who helps us

We use trusted services to run the membership: Membership Unlimited (the website, members’ area and emails) and Stripe (payments). Some of them are in the United States; they protect your information under recognised data transfer agreements.

Cookies

Our website counts visits without cookies and doesn’t use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

While you’re a member, and for 12 months after your last activity with us (like your last payment, visit or sign-up), so you can come back easily. Then we delete your details, unless you’re still on our email list or have bought something you still have. Payment records (amounts and dates) are kept for at least 6 years for tax, with your name and email taken off.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We’ll reply within one month. Every email has an unsubscribe link. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the data protection regulator where you live.
